Maintenance of Feramolli taps
For daily maintenance of the external surface of the mixer, use a soft cloth and a solution of water with a mild cleaning agent, then rinse the product thoroughly with clean water and wipe it dry. Regular care of your mixers will help to avoid limescale build-up and a thicker layer of dirt.
We strongly recommend after each use of the faucet, we advise you to dry it. To protect the coating from scratches it is not recommended to use rough materials or caustic or any abrasive preparations.
In the case of small contaminants in water or water of "hard" water, remove the aerator once every few weeks and clean it with a brush. If there is more severe soiling, we recommend soaking the aerator for 10 minutes in a 10% citric acid solution with water. For the thermostatic mixers to work properly, run the mixer once every two weeks, spanning the full temperature range - from very cold water to maximum hot water. Repeat the operation several times.
PLEASE NOTE: this guarantee is not valid if the Warranty certificate is not returned. Certificates which are photocopied, damaged, incomplete, altered, or not belonging to the returned item cannot be accepted. We reserve the right to make technical modifications.
- 5 years for tightness of the mixer body (cast and forged elements);
- 5 years for trouble-free operation of the mixer cartridge;
- 2 years for thermostatic cartridges, provided that fine filters are installed on each mixer;
- 1 year for other elements of the mixer, such as spray switches, hoses, shower heads, mounting elements, seals;
- 1 year for products installed in public places.
In order to use this guarantee, it is necessary to return the tap to the original place of purchase well packaged, together with the relevant purchase documents (purchase invoice or receipt etc.). Your supplier will then ask for a formal application of the guarantee. If the fault is covered by the guarantee. Feramolli will then decide whether to repair or replace the tap free of charge. If the fault is not covered by the guarantee, then the tap will be return either repaired or not and all expenses such as transport, testing and the repair cost itself will be charged.
The warranty does not apply to:

Damage caused by direct or indirect non-compliance with the installation and operating instructions, as well as resulting from improper storage of the product;

Mechanical damage to the product and the resulting malfunctions;

Damage caused by contamination in the water or in the water supply network;

A product in which structural changes or alterations were found that were not made by the manufacturer;

Damage to the product that occurred during its delivery to the authorized warranty service center due to its inadequate protection;

On the color coating of the product if the established rules of care are not observed;

On the incomplete configuration of the product.
- Installation of the mixer must be carried out by a qualified plumber;
- Mixers must be operated at a pressure of 1-6 bar;
- Do not hang heavy objects on the mixer;
- Do not allow the temperature in the room where the mixer is installed to drop below 0 °C. This may cause the mixer body to crack;
- To avoid burns, first open the cold water, and then the hot water; adjust the temperature before bathing and do not touch the part of the mixer through which the hot water is supplied;
- Aerators in mixers should be cleaned of sediment and periodically replaced with new ones;
- ATTENTION! Thermostatic mixers should be operated at a pressure of 1-6 bar and at a temperature of 4-29 °C for cold water and 55-85 °C for hot water. The product shows the best results at a pressure of 3 bar and a temperature of 15 °C for cold water and 65 °C for hot water. It is not recommended to use thermostatic mixers for running water heaters, as this can cause unstable operation of the mixers.
